Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in canine aquatic activities, including but not limited to dock diving, swimming, training sessions, and use of the pool and dock facilities at The Dog Dock, involves inherent risks to both humans and dogs.

These risks may include, but are not limited to:

Slips, falls, or injuries on wet surfaces
Dog-related injuries such as bites, scratches, or collisions
Drowning or water-related incidents
Equipment failure or misuse
Unpredictable behavior from dogs or people

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation for myself, my dog(s), and any accompanying individuals.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge The Dog Dock, its owners, operators, employees, trainers, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage to person, dog, or property that may occur while participating in activities or using the facility.

This includes any claims arising from negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Responsibility for Dog

I accept full responsibility for my dog’s behavior and any damage or injury caused by my dog to people, other animals, or property.

I certify that my dog(s) are:

in good health and physically capable of participating

current on vaccinations and free of contagious conditions

not aggressive and will be under your control at all times

Compliance with Rules

I agree to follow all posted rules and instructions provided by staff at The Dog Dock. I understand that failure to follow rules may result in removal from the facility without refund.

Photo & Media Release

I grant permission for The Dog Dock to use photos or videos of myself and/or my dog(s) for promotional, marketing, or social media purposes.
